Urban Rias

The "Rias Community", the core concept of the Multifunctional Administrative City 2-4 Living Area Residential Complex (Hanshin The Hue Reserve I) project,  realizes a colorful living space interacting with neighbors through the rias-type intersection method that resembles nature, the surrounding nature of the complex is introduced into the city, and the daily community of residents is induced at the intersection area, and each main building is planned as a porous greening yard. The landmark residential building, which is the symbol of the project, is the tallest and most characterful building in Sejong City, and the one building expresses nature and the city through two concepts of façade, the observatory and neighborhood facilities on the top four floors are symbolic as landmarks overlooking the entire city of Sejong. The project applied BIM from the design stage to reduce design errors and minimize changes according to the structural characteristics of various types of units overlapping and crossing layers.

2022 Korean Architecture Awards Grand Prize in Housing Sector
